Welcome to Chapel Street Elementary School

The staff at Chapel Street School is committed to creating a learning environment which will allow all students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and confidence to meet the challenges of a changing society.

We believe that the responsibility for a child's education must be shared among the home, the school, and the child. Parents are the first teachers, and are an integral part of their child's education and development. The school will provide a myriad of opportunities for each child to develop academic and social skills. We ask of students when they come to school only two very basic things: that they always try their very best at whatever the task, and that they behave. In fulfilling these two requirements in conjunction with the efforts of the home
and the school, then the child will certainly be successful in school and in life.
